This small, jungle topped island is located on the way to Shark Point from Phuket and is considered one of the best wall dives in the area. Literally translated, ‘Koh Doc Mai’ mean Flower Island, and during April the top of the Island is covered in beautiful red flowers. Underwater, steep walls are the main feature of this impressive limestone island. The island is suitable for thrilling Deep, Wall and Drift diving and is usually visited on the way back from or to Shark Point. The steep walls are covered with soft and hard corals, tube worms, sea fans and sponges. The east side of the island is a virtual garden of yellow tube corals and you can explore some of the small caves along the base of the wall. Coral Banded cleaner shrimp are in abundance, and also Black and White banded sea snakes are fairly common here.  The west side is a gently sloping hard coral reef with an abundance of colourful sea life decorating it’s underwater cliffs.
